No-Fail, No-Yeast Pizza Dough
This truly is a easy no-fail, no-yeast pizza dough. Our grandson is here with us one day each week. About a year ago, I began introducing him to cooking and baking. He loved it, we had the best time exploring cooking with quick and easy recipes. He’s really good about suggesting what he’d like to prepare the following week and he decided on pizza.
Yeast was in short supply and using it would have required more time than a 6 year olds attention span would allow. I began looking for ingredients I could use as a substitution. Which is how this recipe came about!
What's In This Easy Pizza Dough?
There are 5 simple ingredients in this easy pizza dough; all purpose flour, butter, milk, baking powder and salt. Yep, that’s it. Simple ingredients we all have in our pantry and refrigerator.

Let's Make some Dough
It doesn’t get any easier than putting all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and combine to form a dough. We use our stand mixer and its dough hook attachment for this. You’re done mixing once the dough pulls away from the inside of your mixing bowl. Now, just hand knead it for one minute on a lightly floured work surface.
You could also, mix by hand or start with a hand mixer and finish with hand kneading.
Press or Roll
You can immediately divide the dough and start pressing or rolling it into the size and shape you desire for your pizza. In our case, that was a small 8 inch single serving pizza.
Once it’s sized and shaped we added our pizza sauce and cheddar cheese. Our little Chef is very selective and prefers one topping and that’s cheddar cheese.
You can ad toppings of your choice. Here are a few we’ve used: Mozzarella and cheddar cheese, pepperoni, canadian bacon spinach, mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers, green chili peppers, garlic, and italian sweet sausage crumbles.
Let's bake our Easy No-Fail Pizza
Pop your pizza into a 450 degree preheated oven for 10-15 minutes. Baking time will vary depending on the thickness of your pizza crust and how many toppings you add.
