A light and refreshing dessert.
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter softened room temperature
- 1/4 cup nuts finely chopped
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 6 oz Cream Cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg beatened
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tbsps Corn starch and Water mix together in small mason jar
- 3 tbsp strawberry jello
Mix together flour, chopped nuts and powdered sugar. Stir to combine.
Add butter. Using a pastry cutter or your hands mix in butter.
In a pre-heated 400 degree oven, bake the crust for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden in color. Do not over cook.
Blend together cream cheese, sugar and one beaten egg.
Pour onto crust and bake for 10 minutes at 250 degrees.
Bring 1 cup water to boil and add in 1 cup sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved and water is clear.
In a small mason jar add 3 tbsp water and 3 tbsp cornstarch. Shake to mix and until all cornstarch lumps are dissolved. Add to sugar water and stir to thicken and clear. Remove from heat.
Stir in Jello and then set aside to cool.
Arrange strawberries on pizza.
Once topping is cool, pour spoonfuls over arranged strawberries. Using the back of a large spoon spread evenly over strawberries.
Place in refrigerator to chill.
Serve and enjoy!
